Create an IAM user or access key with s3:ListBucket and s3:GetObject on the prefix you want cataloged. Credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown again.

Hosted storage
Uploads through the browser, SDK or API land in Needset-managed storage under your tenant prefix. Use this for samples and pilots; connect your own bucket for anything you would rather not copy.
Then
- Go to Data assets and scan a prefix. Objects are hashed and cataloged in place.
- Optimize the ones you want deduplicated; approve and activate the representation.
- Compile a plan and read the explanation.
